My time at Motown was wonderful and right after these a lot of a long time in LA, I'd been
invited to record and tour with my outdated pal, Bob Seger, what an honor!
During a hiatus with Bob, I was asked if I�d have an interest in coming to
file the backing vocals on Eric Clapton�s �Behind The Sun� album. We recorded
this fantastic document, and Eric asked me if I�d like to do the tour, it was too excellent to become
accurate!
It absolutely was on Bob Seger�s tour in �86 that i met Invoice Payne and Fred Tackett, two of the
members on the famous band Minor Feat. A bit after recording within the re-grouped
band�s CD, Allow It Roll, they requested me to affix like a full member in 93�, and for that subsequent
nearly sixteen several years, it had been my home.
It was right after this stint with Tiny Feat that i recognized I�d occur entire circle back to in which
I started out, on this planet in the Blues.
I used to be fortunate in 2013 to be the Bluesblast Audio Awards, Ideal Feminine Blues Artist
From the Calendar year, and in addition win Ideal Modern day Blues Album In the 12 months for my launch of
Ask for The Moon, also as 3 Grammy nominations.
With my most existing release, Mighty Gates, created a cross style CD of which I wrote 7 in the tunes, and integrated a few from my favorite artists. Dobie Grey had despatched me �Mighty Gates� somewhat above five several years ago, and that i considered it an excellent fit for the occasions!
